Our Commitment

Organic agriculture
La Tour Gallus has always cultivated its vines with care and respect. For us, organic agriculture was simply a natural step, the official recognition of a practice already firmly established, born of a deep conviction.
In autumn, once the harvest is complete, we lightly work the soil to prepare it for its winter rest, without ever using herbicides. Here, only the patient management of grass cover preserves the harmony between the vines and their landscape. The carefully maintained vegetation cover lightens the soil and protects the ground.
To take care of our vines, we choose natural solutions, applied with precision and discernment. And because we believe that the vine expresses itself best through restraint, our yields remain deliberately modest. This choice allows each cuvée to reveal the true character of its terroir: lively, sincere wines that reflect the signature of the place and the breath of life.

Biodynamic
Above all, we seek to make our soils and vines more sensitive, more receptive, until they diversify and naturally flourish. The biodynamic preparations, applied throughout the year, encourage this vitality. We are convinced that balance is born of diversity.
It is through the soil, the vine, the winegrower and the climate that the identity of our terroirs takes shape. And it is by observing patiently, by listening to the subtle signs of the landscape, that our desire to produce terroir-driven wines grows year by year.

Our CSR commitment
As a committed producer of Muscadet, La Tour Gallus continues to follow a path it has never strayed from: sustainable viticulture, mindful of the land and the humans who work it.
The estate has always worked with humility and high standards, preserving the soil, fostering life, and allowing the vines the time and balance they need:

In the vineyard
Biodynamics, massal selections, careful ploughing, and the groves that are being revived between the plots… all these are time-honoured practices passed down through the generations, guided by a concern for life.
In the cellar
Interventions are kept to a minimum, so that each wine reflects the authenticity of the terroir.
At the estate
The estate also cares for its human environment, offering a pleasant working environment focused on well-being and knowledge-sharing. Here, responsibility is not a policy: it is a way of life, a guiding principle that has always linked the vines, the land and the people.
